Ramakrishnan has accompanied leading artists all over India and his concerts have taken him across the globe to the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Middle East. While in the US, Ramakrishnan was mentored in the Dhanammal baani by Dr.B.Balasubramaniam. He was also fortunate to train under the great master Sangeetha Kalanidhi Shri. He then came under the wings of the distinguished violin maestro Sangeetha Kalanidhi Padmashri Kum.A.Kanyakumari and is one of her senior disciples today. He was initiated in Carnatic Violin under the guidance of Smt. Ramakrishnan began his vocal training from his mother at the age of 2.
